Idan Greenboim was born in Tel Aviv, Israel.
He studied at the Rubin Academy for Music and Dance in Jerusalem under
the guidance of Dr. Asaf Zohar and Dr. Irina Berkovich.
After Graduating with an M.A degree he entered the Master Class of Prof.
Hartmut Schneider in the High Music School in Detmold, Germany.
He graduated successfully in the winter of 2007 with the Konzertexamen degree.
Idan Greenboim has taken part in various Master classes. He has worked
under the guidance of Prof. Irina Edelstein (Frankfurt, Moulin d'Ande, Internationale Musiktage in Koblenz), Prof. Gilead Mishory (Freiburg), Alexander Korsantya (USA), Oli Mustonen (Finland) and others.
In 2002 he won a scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation
Since 2008 Idan Greenboim has been living in Berlin, Germany.
He teaches in Potsdam at the "Johann Sebastian Bach" music school and performs in concerts as a soloist as well as part of ensembles.
